This error means the meter was unable to complete the test correctly.
What to do:

Repeat the test using a new strip.

If you're running a control test, make sure you're using only CONTOUR™ control solution.

Always store your strips in the original container, with the lid tightly closed after each use.

Check the expiration date, and avoid exposing strips to moisture or extreme temperatures.

During the countdown, do not bump or move the meter.
