CONTOUR™ Diabetes ID Portal: Join or create organization

In the Organizations tab, you have the option to create or join an organization. In this article, we will discuss both options. Healthcare Professionals and Clinic Workers must be assigned to an Organization in order to perform any actions in GlucoContro.online and other available services. 

Create organization

1. While in the "Organizations" tab, at the very bottom you will see "Can't find your organization? Create one!" accompanied by a plus icon. Click on the plus icon to proceed.


2. The Organization Wizard window will appear. You will be asked to select the country in which you want to create an organization. The list of countries will be based on which country your profile is registered in.
We will indicate the United Kingdom as the country for which we want to create a clinic.

NOTE: If the country in which you want to create a clinic is not displayed, you must create a Professional profile for that country.

3. In the next step, you will be asked to enter your organization name, language, Clinic Identification Number and address. By default, the email address you used to register your account will be inserted.

4. The last step is to summarize the information you provided. Go through them carefully and at the very bottom of the window click "Create". Depending on the resolution of your screen, you may need to scroll down with the mouse wheel to see the bottom of the window.

5. Once the information is approved, you will need to wait for an Ascensia representative to approve the new Organization.

Join organization

1. If you want to join an already registered Organization, go to the Organizations tab.
In the "Organization" tab, you will be able to join a clinic in the country where you have a registered profile. Please note that you must first indicate the country to which the clinic you are looking for belongs.

2. Once you have selected a country, you can search for a clinic in two ways:

• Scroll through the list of clinics manually (they are in alphabetical order),
• Use Search box to look for the Organization by:
  • The name of the Organization (it can be part of the name),
  • The ID number (if the clinic administrator gave it to you)
  • The city of the Organization.

We will enter part of the name of the clinic to search for "PL Test Diabetes Center"
If you have found a clinic you work with, click "Join".


3. A window will pop up asking you to enter your e-mail address. By default, the address you used to create your account will be used. You can change this email in case you want to receive notifications from this Organization to a different inbox.

Click "Join" to proceed.
