1. Install the GlucoContro Connector (first time only)
- Log in to GlucoContro.online.
- Click the Download Data button at the top of the screen.
- If this is your first time, you’ll be asked to download and install the GlucoContro Connector app.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to install the app.
Note: The GlucoContro Connector works only on Windows 7 or newer.
After successful installation, the app will run automatically in the background (system tray) every time you start your computer.
Download Data from Your Meter
- In GlucoContro.online, click the Download Data button again.
- Select the connection type based on your meter model.
- Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
The connection process may look slightly different depending on the meter model you use.
First-Time Connection Notice
If this is the first time you are connecting a specific meter, you will be asked to confirm this action.
⚠ Make sure it’s your personal meter.
Imported readings cannot be deleted once saved.
Import Results
- Wait while the system reads the data from your meter (this may take a few moments).
- When the results summary appears, click Import Results.
- Your readings will immediately appear on your GlucoContro.online chart.
2. Bayer Blue Cable
1. Open Device Manager
Click the magnifying glass icon (next to the Start button in the bottom-left corner), type Device Manager, and press Enter.
2. Find the Cable
In Device Manager, scroll down to Universal Serial Bus controllers and expand the list.
Right-click Bayer’s USB Cable and choose Update driver.
3. Choose Manual Installation
In the new window, click Browse my computer for drivers.
4. Enter the Driver Location
In the path field, paste one of the following locations:
C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\EK95E6ER.DVQ\LEJ6OX3H.1Z7\gluc..tion_aeeab511fe2b9caa_0001.0005_b41ab496f048f0bb\CableDrivers
(Replace “yourusername” with your actual Windows username, e.g. C:\Users\John\AppData\...)
Or try this alternate path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Sdncenter\Cable driver
Then click Next.
5. Confirm Driver Installation
If the driver installs correctly, you’ll see a confirmation message.
If the latest driver is already installed, the system will inform you.
If the Folder is Not Found:
- Click the magnifying glass again and type Task Manager.
- In the Processes tab, look for SdNcenter.Meta.Tray.
- Right-click it and choose Open file location.
- Look for a folder called CableDrivers.
- Copy the folder path from the address bar.
- Go back to Device Manager and paste this path in the Browse field (Step 4).
- Click Next to install the driver.
