In GlucoContro.online, you can share your health data not only with Healthcare Professionals but also with Caregivers - for example, a family member or friend. Caregivers will have read-only access to your profile.
How to Invite a Caregiver
1. In the app menu, go to My Family.
2. Click Invite Family Member.
3. Enter the Caregiver’s:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
4. Click Invite family member.
The invitation will be sent by email.
The person does not need to have a GlucoContro.online account yet — they can create one later using the invitation link.
Manage Invitations and Caregivers
To review sent invitations or manage your Caregivers:
- Go to My Family in the menu.
- Here you can:
- See all pending invitations
- View active Caregivers
Remove access by clicking the three-dot menu next to their name and selecting Revoke access
Confirm Data Sharing After Acceptance
Once your Caregiver creates an account and accepts your invitation:
- Go to My Family in the menu.
- Click Share data next to their name to confirm data sharing.
After this step, your Caregiver will have read-only access to your profile and results.
Recieving invitation to share data from Caregiver
Caregivers can also send you the requests to share your data with them.
- Once the Caregiver will fill all necessary details, please check your email for message with invitation link:
- Click on 'Open the invitation' to continue. The web browser will open, once you log in to GlucoContro.online, following prompt will be displayed:
- Click 'Accept' to share the your data with the Caregiver.
After this step, your Caregiver will have read-only access to your profile and results.
Revoking access for Caregiver
- Go to My Family in the main menu.
- Find the Caregiver you want to remove.
- Click the three-dot menu next to their name.
- Select Revoke Access.
This person will immediately lose access to your data.
