Create an Contour Account

We’re glad you’ve decided to use GlucoContro.online!
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you register and start working as a Healthcare Professional.

1. Go to www.glucocontro.online and click Create an Account in the lower-right corner.

2. Select Professional Account when choosing your account type.

3. Fill in the required fields:

• • Use a secure password (at least 8 characters, including one number and one letter).

  • Accept the Terms of Service.

  • Choose your Country of practice carefully – this affects clinic access and data storage.

ℹ️ Your data and your patients' data will be stored securely on servers based on your location:

• USA/Canada – stored in the United States

• Australia/Asia-Pacific – stored in Australia

• All other countries – stored in the European Union

4. After completing the form, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

5. Open the email and click Complete the registration process.

If your session expires before email confirmation, simply log in again using your email and password to continue.

6. Depending on your selected country, additional information may be required.
Fill in all the fields and click Continue.

Join Organization

To use GlucoContro.online as a Healthcare Professional, you must be part of a medical organization.

If your clinic already uses GlucoContro.online, you can search for it by name or city and click Join to send a request.

If your clinic is not yet registered, you can create a new organization directly in the system.

Joining an existing organization

1. Use the search bar to find your organization by name or city.

2. Click Join next to the correct organization.

3. Enter your business email address (used within that organization).

4. Wait for approval from the clinic’s Administrator.

• Until approved, you’ll only see limited options.

• After approval, you’ll access the full clinic dashboard and patient profiles.

Creating new organization

If your clinic isn't listed, you can create a new one.

1. Click Create at the top of the form.

2. Fill in the organization’s details:

• • Choose the country where the clinic is registered.

  • Select the default language for email communication.

3. Submit your business email address.

• This is where GlucoContro.online will send notifications.

• You'll still log in using the email you registered with.

4. Depending on your country, you may need to choose how patient data will be stored:

During the registration process for Personal account and creation of new Clinic for Commercial accounts you will be prompted to choose your preferred storage options for medical records during the step called Set up your Cloud Drive.

🔒 All patient health data is anonymized and accessible only by authorized professionals.

Currently you can choose between Central Storage and Google Drive, information below provide more details for each option:

• Central Storage - if you choose this option your medical records or records stored within your Clinic will be persisted within our highly secured, annonymized, geo-distributed, encrypted central database for protected health information. This storage is kept separate from your identity, account details and/or Clinic details and the only way to match medical information with your account is using the access key that is encrypted with your passphrase or passphrase of each of your health care professional. The key to access medical information is decrypted only within the browser and therefore users can be sure that no one besides themselve can access and match medical information with their identity.
• Google Drive - this option is one of our "Bring Your Own Cloud" industry leading and unique options. Within GlucoContro.online you or the Clinic you create can keep the medical records within private cloud drive like Google Drive. In this scenario no medical records are ever send to our servers and entire process of loading and persisting medical data is happening between the browser and cloud drive provider (i.e. Google Drive).* Access tokens to cloud drive are encrypted with users passphrase and never send in clear text to our servers. Decryption of access tokens takes place within end-user browser and therefore no one can access medical records unattanded.

* for Google Drive the medical records are stored within hidden application folder and are accessible only for GlucoContro.online application. Owner of Google account will not see those information within his drive at drive.google.com however the space quote will be consumed.

5. Once your organization is submitted, an Ascensia Administrator will review it.

After approval, you’ll be able to access the full Clinic Dashboard and invite other professionals or patients.
