How to update Bayer Blue Cable driver

If you’re using the Bayer Blue Cable and need to update or assign the correct driver, follow these steps:

1. Open Device Manager

Click the magnifying glass icon (next to the Start button in the bottom-left corner), type Device Manager, and press Enter.

2. Find the Cable

In Device Manager, scroll down to Universal Serial Bus controllers and expand the list.

Right-click Bayer’s USB Cable and choose Update driver.

3. Choose Manual Installation

In the new window, click Browse my computer for drivers.

4. Enter the Driver Location

In the path field, paste one of the following locations:

(Replace “yourusername” with your actual Windows username, e.g. C:\Users\John\AppData\...)

5. Confirm Driver Installation

If the driver installs correctly, you’ll see a confirmation message.
If the latest driver is already installed, the system will inform you.

If the Folder is Not Found:

1. Click the magnifying glass again and type Task Manager.

2. In the Processes tab, look for SdNcenter.Meta.Tray.

3. Right-click it and choose Open file location.

4. Look for a folder called CableDrivers.

5. Copy the folder path from the address bar.

6. Go back to Device Manager and paste this path in the Browse field (Step 4).

7. Click Next to install the driver.
